Great watch if you have golith arms, and don’t mind buying a new battery upon delivery, otherwise, other options from both Casio and also Freestyle are MUCH better choices.

Atomic watches are highly-accurate quartz watches which are synchronized each day with a time signal broadcast from the definitive U.S. Atomic Clock in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Thus, all atomic watches are always accurate to within a fraction of a second at any time. Since, atomic watches adjust automaticaly to and from daylight saving time they are the ultimate in accurate watches. Casio makes — and Amazon sells — a wide selection of styles of atomic watches to suit various needs and tastes, but all are equally accurate. This Casio G Shock is both rugged and versatile as well as continuously accurate.

Simply put, the watch is way too large and the band is very uncomfortable… a problem which seems to be common with all the G-Shocks I’ve tried so far. I finally gave up on Casio and ordered a Luminox,(much more expensive), which so far has been flawless. And the Luminox really does glow in the dark.

I’ve had mine for 18 mos., and the battery has gotten to where it won’t hold a charge any more without being in full sun most of the day. So, the charge capacity of the battery has deteriorated by a major percentage. This makes the watch, effectively, broken.
Casio has truly gone down in reliability from what they were many years ago. I can remember Casio watches I bought for $15 dollars that lasted 5 yrs. without the battery needing replacement.
I will never buy another Casio, the company’s gone to the dogs.

I’m buying 3 more, one for each of my boys. After getting this watch I stopped wearing my Rolex… It just wasn’t accurate enough. Put this watch on, forget about it, and you will always have the exact time….What could be better?
